
Well, I guess it wouldn't be Spring if it didn't include a several hundred dollar trip to the vet to remove a foxtail. Last year, Tikka required an emergency room visit due to a huge foxtail in her eye. Yesterday, poor Roman got one up his nose and the vet had to use anesthesia to scope his nasal cavaties. Roman is recovering well; my wallet, not so much! Good thing I have pet insurance now.

I think it might be time to get Tikka another 'foxtail trim'...
